Some in the real estate industry are supporting the illusion that there are very few houses being sold in America due to the current state of the real estate market, as well as the fact that many Americans are struggling to acquire a mortgage.  However, studies conducted by real estate experts show that these assumptions simply are not accurate.

According to the Existing Homes Sales Report conducted by the National Association of Realtors, on average 12,109 homes are sold across the nation every day.  This is certainly a more impressive number than many news sources would lead the public believe.  This means that on a daily basis, over 12,000 homes will be sold to Americans who are making their personal American Dreams a reality and helping to make the real estate market thrive.

Additionally, the Existing Homes Sales Report also refutes the idea that Americans are struggling to acquire mortgages.  The report shows that, of these 12,000 daily home purchases, an impressive 72% of them were carried out with a mortgage.  This means that on average 8, 719 new homeowners qualify for a mortgage every day.
